Halloween Candy Cookies

Ingredients

  • 12 TBSP or 1 ½ sticks butter, softened
  • ½ cup sugar
  • ½ cup packed brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1-2 cups chopped Halloween Candy (we used 15 pieces)

 

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees
  2. Using a hand or standing mixer, cream together the butter and sugar on medium speed
  3. Add eggs and vanilla. Mix on medium speed until creamy and light
  4. On low speed, mix in baking soda, salt and flower
  5. Add candy, mix until combined
  6. Roll dough into balls. Each should use roughly 2 TBSP of dough
  7. Bake for 10 -12 minutes or until tops are golden
