Greek Turkey Burgers

  • Tzatziki
    • 2 cups Greek yogurt
    • 1 cucumber, shredded and juice squeezed out
    • ¼ cup fresh dill, chopped
    • 1 T lemon juice
    • 2 teaspoons finely chopped garlic
  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • ¼ cup sundried tomatoes, chopped
  • ¼ cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1/3 cup purple onion, chopped
  • 1 T milk
  • 1 t garlic powder
  • 1 t oregano
  • 1 t Salt and pepper
  • Feta cheese

 Directions

  1. Combine all tzatziki ingredients. Refrigerate until use.
  2. In a bowl, combine turkey, sundried tomatoes, parsley, purple onion, milk, garlic powder, oregano, salt and pepper.
  3. Separate the mixture into 4 pieces and roll into patties. Create a well in the middle of each patty and insert one tablespoon of feta cheese. Work the turkey mixture over the top so the cheese is in the middle of the patty.
  4. Preheat a pan over medium-high heat. Add 1-2 tablespoons of oil. Cook the patties for 3-5 minutes per side.
  5. Serve with the tzatziki sauce. Enjoy!
