Search FAQ

Win cash or sweeps every time you complete 4 qualified searches! The more you search, the more you win! Earn more cash by actively engaging with search results, not just completing searches. You can still earn up to $0.15 each day.

Members could earn $.01  up to $.04 and/or Sweeps for every 4 qualified searches up to a maximum of $.015 per day.

Search crediting may be issued in Sweeps and/or Cash.  Cash crediting is not guaranteed and can be random.

Searches completed after daily max has been met can earn SWEEPS that can be used in the Reward Center*.

A qualified search is a search result that is done naturally, where you are seeking actual search results for the query you entered.

Additionally, any week where you search four or more days, you will receive a $0.05 search loyalty reward. Gold Members will receive $0.10 for the search loyalty reward.

How does crediting work?
Your account will be credited in less than 15 minutes for each qualifying credit. A weekly email summarizes the search credits earned in the past week.
What is a Qualified Search?

How do I earn cash? You are more likely to earn a cash prize if you are actively engaging with search results, not just completing searches. Please keep in mind you will not always win a cash prize, but you will always win sweeps. You can earn up to $0.15 through cash search each day.

A "qualified search" is one that's made by a real person seeking real search results. Repeat, variations of terms or fraudulent search attempts, including those made by robots, hackers and computer scripts, do not count as qualified searches.

Any earnings from unqualified or fraudulent searches will be deducted from your account, and any person, committing fraudulent search activity may be removed from InboxDollars.

Only searches made from the default search engine (Yahoo) are considered Cash Searches.
Rewards will not be earned when searching for:
• Images or videos
• "Search This Site" searches
• URL or website domains, including terms that end in .com, .org, .net, .edu, etc.
• Well-known websites, such as AOL, CNN, Facebook, Gmail, Hotmail, MySpace, etc.
• Stock quotes or word definitions
• Searches that contain a phrase that yield no search results or gibberish

InboxDollars has recently removed the Toolbar option as we will be offering new features on our site soon that will not include the Toolbar. If you had the Toolbar feature installed on your browser and had either uninstalled it or changed Browsers the Toolbar install will no longer be available.

Billy Tip! The search earnings displayed in your Current Earnings may differ from the amount listed on the Cash Search page. Please allow a few minutes for your earnings to update.
